Meet Rusty! Rusty is one of our senior dogs at around 8 years old and is about 78 pounds! Rusty is a very good dog who loves his playtime in the yard! We haven't seen any aggression from him, though he seems to react to dogs who are reacting to him. We have not tested him on how he is with cats or kids yet, though if he is going home with another animal we recommended a dog-to-dog meet and greet here at the shelter or a slow introduction when meeting a cat. He does do good walking on a leash, but we aren't sure how good he is riding in a car. If you are interested in meeting Rusty to adopt or to foster, please call us at (828)980-0016 or email us at rutherfordanimalcontrol@heartofthefoothills.org
